Rick Tanton’s journey through digital and social media began in 1994 with the launch of his first website design company and as Canada’s first blogger, and ended in the advertising industry where he led the digital and social media practices at two different agencies. In this time he’s had the opportunity to manage the strategies for companies including Scotiabank, Corus, Molson Coors, Toronto Pearson International Airport, Nissan, Pepsi, The Keg, Unilever, and the Government of Ontario. In 2016 Rick left the agency world to become a freelance strategist focused on small and medium sized businesses while chasing his dreams as the owner and operator of Aurora’s Twisted Branch brewery.
